About Gout
Before getting into too much detail, let us first know what gout is all about. Gout is actually one of the most common and painful types of arthritis that men suffer. It happens when there is too much uric acid built up within the body. It can cause sudden pain, firmness and swelling usually starting in your big toe. Pain attacks will usually happen over and over again until gout is treated. It may get better in three to ten days.

So, how does one get gout? This is caused when the uric acid in one’s body is too high. The body then forms hard crystals in your joints which cause the pain. You may have high chances of getting gout if you are overweight, alcoholic, eat too much meat and takes medicine like diuretics.
How do you know if it is gout? Usually, pain attacks are during the night. You can feel sharp pain, tenderness and swelling in your big toe. This is where usually gout starts. Gout can also affect your instep, ankles, heels, knees, wrists, fingers and elbows. Even if the pain is gone, one who is suffering from gout should seek the help of a doctor because most likely the pain will attack again in a few weeks or months.

Treatment of gout may require long intakes of several medicines. To stop an attack, you can be given a shot of corticosteroids or have large doses of a few medicines. Taking ibuprofen can help ease the pain but not the attacks. This only helps relax the joint that is in pain. However, aspirin is not recommended because it can increase the uric acid level in the blood. Aside from the medicines you should take, it is also best to watch what you eat. As much as possible, avoid meat, seafood and most specially alcohol. Drink plenty of water and other fluids and avoid getting overweight. Also do follow ups with your doctor to make sure that your gout is being treated correctly. And since gout attacks your joints, it is best recommended that daily exercise should be followed.
There are ways to prevent getting gout. You should have proper diet and regular exercise. Eat fruits and vegetables. You should also watch your weight; if you are becoming overweight, and then do something about it before it gets too late. And if it cannot be avoided, reduce intake of alcohol.
A healthy lifestyle is what one needs to avoid gout or any other illnesses around. Always remember that your health is your wealth.
the best remedy for gout
I killed my gout in a few hours.
Hi, I’m Mark Saville and I have gout.
I always tell people it feels like someone took a hammer and hit your joint.
Here’s what my gout looked like in my ankle.

It started out as little pain in the joint and I thought maybe I had twisted my ankle or something. Most people get gout in their big toe but I have it extremely bad and tend to get it in larger joints.
I didn’t pay too much attention to it at the time but about 3 am after I’d gone to bed I woke up with this extreme pain, my ankle was swollen 3 times it’s size and there was no way I was going to get back to sleep.
Even over the counter pain killers didn’t do a thing to curb the pain.
It was swollen and red like in the picture.
I didn’t know what to do, I had no idea what it was and was getting a little worried.
I just layed around for the whole day and finally got an appointment
with my doctor. I hobbled down there and he said I have gout.
He prescribed Colchicine and told me not to take too many.
I didn’t realize how many was too many so I started popping them.
Let me tell you, liquefying the content of your stomach has a whole new meaning. I’ve found out that that stuff is made of the Autumn Crocus. Here’s a quote from a reliable source.
“The plant has been mistaken by foragers for ramsons, which it vaguely resembles, but is a deadly poison due to the presence of colchicine, a useful drug with a narrow therapeutic index. The symptoms of colchicine poisoning resemble those of arsenic and there is no antidote. Despite its toxicity, colchicine is an approved treatment for gout and is also used in plant breeding to produce polyploid strains.”
Holy cow, that has to be bad for you!
By this time I was getting fed up because the stuff only works if you
take enough to toxify your body, I headed online to find something
that would help and not kill me.
I did a Google search and luckily found this site www.CureYourGout.com I read through the whole site and was amazed at the information that was on the site especially for a site that was trying to sell me something.
At this point I figured I had nothing to lose, the book was cheap and it really looked like the information would work.
I downloaded the book The Gout Remedy Report and started reading it. In minutes I was putting one of the remedies to use and reading about how to live gout free.
I know this sounds too good to be true but within an hour the pain and swelling was starting to lighten up and I felt like me again.
I remember telling my doctor about my new found remedy and he
was really interested in finding out more about what I was doing.
I’ve been using the remedies in the book and with a few small changes and items I can get at the grocery store. I have my gout under control. I’ve had minor attacks since and I just hit it with the remedies from the book and I’m able to function without any problem.
That’s my story, this remedy made a believer out of me and I’m able to keep my gout under control.
There is great information at this site. www.CureYourGout.com
